   Your new DEWA account is triggered once your tenancy contract is registered through Ejari. Get Ejari issued for the new property before you expect anything from DEWA.

   Watch for the DEWA welcome email

   After Ejari is issued, DEWA will send a welcome email to the customer. This is your confirmation that the account for the new home is being set up, so keep an eye on your inbox.

   Check the details inside the email

   The email includes the new account number, security deposit details and payment link. Note down the new account number and review the security deposit details there — the current amount should be confirmed on the DEWA website, as we don't quote figures we can't verify.

   Pay to activate and settle bills

   Use the payment link from the welcome email to handle the security deposit. For ongoing bills, customers can pay DEWA bills using various payment channels, including the EasyPay service, which makes paying easy.
