Check the sponsor's eligibility
A resident meeting income and housing requirements can sponsor a domestic worker. Terms depend on the worker's category and your status.

Go to a Tadbeer centre
Processing goes through the official Tadbeer centres (under MOHRE): they help with matching a worker, the contract and paperwork. You can hire via the centre or sponsor directly per the rules.

Arrange entry and the employment contract
An entry permit and a standard employment contract with defined rights (salary, leave, conditions) are issued for the worker. The contract is registered.

Medical test and Emirates ID
The worker takes the medical test and gets an Emirates ID. Health insurance for the worker is mandatory — provided by the sponsor.

Sponsor's obligations
The sponsor pays salary on time, provides housing and contracted conditions, and renews the visa and insurance. Breaches are penalised — see the rules on mohre.gov.ae.
