The Heal Institute
Digital Amazonia and the “Vault of Life” — a wall of thousands of glowing capsules, each holding the DNA of a different species. The most breathtaking room in the museum.

Tips Before You Visit
- •Go for a weekday morning slot — afternoons and weekends get crowded inside, and the exhibits are meant to be explored at a leisurely pace.
- •The best exterior shots are from the bridge near Emirates Towers station and from the parking lot across the road; after dark the facade is beautifully illuminated.
- •Your ticket is valid for a specific entry time, but once inside you can stay as long as you like. Arriving late may cost you your slot.
- •If you have children under 10, set aside a dedicated block of time for Future Heroes — getting them to leave will be a challenge.
- •There is only one small café inside, so you are better off having lunch at the nearby City Walk or DIFC.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a Museum of the Future ticket cost?
- Reference information: confirm prices, ratings and schedules with the operator.
- Why are tickets unavailable for the next few days?
- The museum uses timed entry with limited capacity, and demand has been consistently high since 2022. During peak season (November–April) and on weekends, book 1–2 weeks ahead; weekday morning slots are almost always available.
- Is it worth the money? Honestly.
- If you are expecting a traditional museum with exhibits — this is not it. It is an immersive experience about the future. The space station and DNA library wow nearly everyone; the prototypes floor is more of an acquired taste. Either way, the architecture outside is free to admire.
- How much time should you allow, and what age is it suitable for?
- Reference information: confirm prices, ratings and schedules with the operator.
- What do the inscriptions on the facade mean?
- They are three quotes by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid about the future, rendered by calligrapher Mattar bin Lahej. The building's windows are the letters themselves — viewed from inside, they form a luminous pattern of light.
