The project is a collaboration between Uber and the airport operator, Dubai Airports. The initiative was developed in line with recommendations from the Dubai Civility Committee. The organization aims to maintain the emirate's aesthetic appeal, public order, and operational excellence across all public zones.
The key feature of the new space is a powerful air-conditioning system. This directly addresses passenger needs, as people previously had to wait for drivers in high heat and humidity outdoors. Visitors can now spend this time in a comfortable environment, protected from the weather.
Saeed AlNazari, Secretary General of the Committee, stated that such measures set high standards for quality of life and service from the moment of landing.
