UAE residents must now book Spanish visa appointments directly via the BLS International website. Third-party agents are banned to prevent fraud and slot misuse. Any bookings made through intermediaries will be rejected at the application center.

Our retelling · details in the original publication

BLS International has updated its appointment system for UAE residents applying for Spanish visas. You must now book your slot directly through their official website. The use of third-party agents or intermediaries is strictly prohibited. This change was implemented to enhance technical infrastructure and prevent the misuse of appointment slots by unauthorized sellers, ensuring fair access for all applicants.

The new booking process includes a verification step to confirm the applicant's identity. The system checks to ensure the person booking is the actual traveler. If the system detects that an intermediary made the booking, the appointment will be voided. Applicants arriving at the Visa Application Centre (VAC) with such bookings will be refused entry and will not be able to submit their documents, leading to wasted time and potential travel delays.

Spain remains a top travel destination for UAE residents, so securing a slot quickly is essential. If you are planning a trip, visit the BLS International portal to secure your appointment yourself. Do not pay travel agencies for this service, as their bookings are no longer valid. It is advisable to check the website frequently for available slots and prepare your documents well in advance to ensure a smooth application process.
