How to Get a Salary Certificate and Your IBAN in Dubai

Opening a bank account in the UAE is the practical first step to receiving your salary and paying bills locally. Your employer's salary certificate or employment letter proves your income, and once your account is open the bank gives you a unique IBAN used for electronic payments inside and outside the country. Here is the plain path from documents to an active account, based on guidance from the Central Bank of the UAE.

    جهّز المستندات المطلوبة

    اجمع الأوراق التي يطلبها البنك قبل تقديم طلبك. تُغني شهادة الراتب أو خطاب العمل الصادر عن صاحب العمل عن إثبات الدخل؛ وقد يطلب البنك في بعض الحالات إثباتاً للعنوان أيضاً.

    تقديم الطلب

    يمكنك فتح الحساب بزيارة أحد فروع البنك، أو بالتقديم عبر موقعه الإلكتروني أو تطبيقه الجوّال — أيّ الطرق يناسبك.

    انتظر تفعيل الحساب

    بعد الموافقة على طلبك، يُفعَّل حسابك المصرفي، وتتسلّم بطاقة سحب، ويُتاح لك الوصول إلى خدمات الصيرفة الإلكترونية والجوّالة.

    تعرّف على رقم IBAN واستخدمه

    منذ عام 2012، أصبح استخدام رقم الحساب المصرفي الدولي (IBAN) إلزامياً في جميع عمليات الدفع والتحصيل الإلكترونية داخل الإمارات وخارجها، باستثناء الدفعات المُنجزة عبر بطاقة ائتمانية. يتوافق IBAN مع معيار ISO 13616، وهو رقم فريد لكل حساب على حدة؛ أي أنك ستحصل على رقم IBAN مستقل لكل حساب تمتلكه سواء في البنك ذاته أو في بنوك مختلفة. وتلتزم البنوك بإخطار أصحاب الحسابات بأرقام IBAN الخاصة بهم.
