Top up the Salik balance in the app, on the website, at machines and via partners. Keep a positive balance — otherwise you may be fined for passing without funds.

As you pass a toll gate the system reads the tag and deducts a fixed charge from your account. No action is needed from the driver.

Rental cars usually already have Salik enabled — charges are added to the rental bill. Confirm the deduction scheme with the rental company.
