The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has updated procedures for consular services across the UAE. You can now visit specific application centers without a prior appointment if you belong to certain eligible categories. This facility covers passport, visa, and attestation services and aims to help those with urgent needs.

This walk-in option is available at 16 Alhind Tours and Travels locations operating as Indian Consular Application Centres. The time window is limited, running only between 9am and 1pm. It is best to arrive early if you plan to use this service.

Eligible groups include Tatkal passport applicants, parents registering newborn children, those needing emergency certificates, senior citizens, and people of determination. If you do not fall into these categories, you must book an appointment online.

The embassy emphasizes that online booking is still the preferred method to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins will only be attended to if there are free slots available after booked appointments are processed. There is no guarantee of service without a booking.
