Our retelling · details in the original publication
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has introduced a visa waiver program for Indian tourists. Visitors travelling from India can get a free UAE entry visa when booking a holiday package of at least three nights in the capital. This initiative is designed to boost tourism numbers and make travel more accessible.
The scheme is valid from August 1 to October 31, 2026. DCT Abu Dhabi will cover the full cost of the entry visa for bookings made through participating travel partners and online agencies. The program is initially limited to 20,000 visas, so availability depends on the quota.
This change reduces travel expenses for Indian passport holders. Businesses in the hospitality sector should prepare for an increase in guests during the autumn season. Travelers are advised to book early through approved partners to secure the benefit. Details are available in the original publication.
