UAE automates health insurance checks for work permits

The UAE Ministry of Human Resources has officially introduced a digital integration system that connects work permits directly with health insurance policies. Omar Saeed Al Mansoori, Director of the Labour Protection Programmes Department at the Ministry, clarified the new mechanism during a radio broadcast. He explained that the new guide regulates current procedures by electronically linking the issuance and renewal of work permits with the mandatory requirement to provide a health insurance policy for workers.
