   Know the mandated vaccines

   The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mandates desirous Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to take vaccines against seasonal influenza, Neisseria meningitis and COVID-19. Plan these in advance, since some need time to take effect.

   Check the rules for pilgrims coming from inside the Kingdom

   For pilgrims coming from inside the Kingdom, the KSA mandates one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, one dose of seasonal influenza vaccine, and one dose of meningitis vaccine given in the past five years for vaccination against Neisseria meningitis.

   Confirm this season's requirements

   Requirements are set per season. Refer to Hajj vaccinations for 1446 Hijri (corresponding to the Gregorian year 2024–2025) from the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and check the authority's website for the current amount and timing.

   Keep your vaccination records with you when you travel. Verify exactly what documentation is accepted on the authority's website, since accepted formats can change from one season to the next.
