To get water and electricity in Abu Dhabi and its surrounding areas, you must apply for the service to Abu Dhabi Distribution Company. This is the first thing to arrange so your new home is livable from day one.

If you are renting, you can get the service only after registering the contract in the Tawtheeq system, which is managed by Abu Dhabi Municipality or other competent entities. Sort this out before you request the utilities connection.
