Alhind Tours & Travels has paused the rollout of its Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) services across the UAE. The operations were originally scheduled to begin on July 1.

The company stated it received official communication from the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi. The embassy cited "administrative reasons" for the deferral and instructed the company to wait for further directives.

Despite the hold, Alhind confirmed it is operationally ready. The company has already set up 16 application centers but cannot open them without the mission's approval.

Applicants waiting for these new centers should continue using existing channels for now. The launch date remains unknown until the Indian mission provides an update.
