The Land Department issues a professional practice card for thirteen kinds of specialist — from broker and mortgage consultant to valuer and trainee valuer. Issuing any card costs AED 500, but a broker additionally sits an exam at AED 700. We set out the list and what a client can verify unaided.

Thirteen kinds of activity
The card is issued for the following activities — the list as printed on the service page:
real estate broker · national broker · real estate projects marketing card · mortgage broker · real estate registrar · private real estate management · real estate management · real estate consultant · mortgage consultant · private real estate sale and purchase card · real estate services registrar · real estate evaluator · trainee evaluator.

One price, and an exam only for brokers

The card lists issuance as a separate line for each activity — broker, national broker, consultant, mortgage broker, mortgage consultant, private management, management, private sale and purchase, registrar — and every one carries the same AED 500. The exam and the ERES fee appear only in the broker block.
Procedure and documents
Five steps: create a Trakheesi account or log in and select the service; enter details and upload documents; receive acceptance through the system; pay online; print the card directly from the system.
The documents named are a personal photo, a copy of the Emirates ID, and — verbatim — "A certificate of at least two years of experience in the field of real estate valuation for citizens and five years for expatriates": proof of at least two years' experience for citizens and five for expatriates, expressly in the field of real estate valuation.
We reproduce that requirement in exactly the attachment it carries on the page, and do not extend it to the other twelve activities: the card says no such thing.
The Trakheesi requirement is the same link that appears in a developer registering a project and in access to Ejari.
What a client can verify unaided
The Department has a separate verification service: "This service allows customers to verify the validity of the Evaluation Certificate issued by the Land Department".
Three steps: select the Information Services field and the service, go to it, enter the required information and click Verify. The time is Immediate. The channels are the Department's website and the Dubai REST app.
No fee for this verification is named on the card at all — neither an amount nor the word "free". We supply neither.
What we do not claim here
- That the verification is free. There is no fee line on the page; an absent line is not the same as zero.
- That the experience requirement covers all thirteen activities. It is attached to experience in real estate valuation.
- That the list of activities is exhaustive today. We reproduce the one printed on the page.
- How long a card remains valid. Not stated.
